Roman Catholics pray for unity at the Democratic Convention

A Roman Catholic prayer group is praying a novena (nine day prayer) for unity at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. They seek to heal past divisions, counteract animosity and bring healing to an ofttimes divisive political process. The novena originated with a group of devout Roman Catholics who pray a daily rosary for Barack Obama.
